Soul Brew

Soul Brew--a hidden St James gem with Brooklyn spunk--is one of the only places where I feel like I can get a true artisan latte anywhere around here. If it was a little closer to where I live, I would go several times per week just to get coffee to go. I always get the avocado toast with two poached eggs. Can't beat it. I like the pepper flakes too, but I scrape most of them off to make it a little less spicy as a preference. My wife usually orders the hot chocolate, which looks lovely, but I will never waste an opportunity for their latte.

Soul Brew is really an amazing little cafe. Surprisingly they have the best breakfast burritos that I've seen in the whole Long Island area, and my burrito standards are high! They have a truly delicious chocolate chip cookie, and practice the sustainable business model of selling day old pastries at reduced prices. I've ordered so many things from their menu and they still add new things all the time.If you are looking for an amazing Cafe, look no further than Soul Brew
